Lafayette is about to get a wall worth gathering around.
On the side of a building in Lafayette, a mural is going up — and it won't be finished until Acadiana finishes it. Names. Prayers. Blessings. The words we actually carry, woven into paint and left there for good.
Thriving communities don't happen by accident.
They're shaped on purpose — when people of every age, from every corner of Acadiana, sit down together, learn from one another, and leave something behind for the ones who come next.
This mural is an invitation to do exactly that. More than a work of art, it's a chance for Lafayette — and everyone across Acadiana who calls this place home — to build something together: a lasting expression of this community's history, its creativity, and what it hopes for next.

This mural is one way we live that out — by paying local artists, opening the process to the wider community, and leaving behind a landmark that reflects the people of Acadiana.
Names, prayers, blessings, and the words that matter most will be woven directly into the piece. It doesn't belong to one artist, or one organization, or even just the names written on it. It belongs to all of us.

The Temple is a place to cultivate strength, resilience, and self-awareness — because personal transformation is where lasting change starts. It's one person, learning to care for themselves.

Solarium Sanctuary is a 10-acre regenerative gathering place in the heart of Acadiana, where neighbors of every generation learn, grow food, and remember old skills together. If The Temple asks how we care for ourselves, we ask how we live well together.
Transformation moves in both directions — it begins within a person, and it grows outward into everything they build with their neighbors.
This wall isn't finished until you're part of it.

Each gift becomes part of the mural itself — not a name on a plaque beside it, but woven into the art Acadiana will walk past for generations. Giving moves through Solarium Sanctuary, a registered 501(c)(3).
